DAON started the way most good things do — unexpectedly. A modded server, a late-night Discord call, and a bunch of people who just really loved playing games together.
We kept noticing the same heartbreaking pattern: communities built with so much love, slowly falling apart from bad monetization, burnout, or just… being forgotten. We didn't want that to happen here.
So we did things a little differently. No paywalls. No shortcuts. We wrote the plugins ourselves, stayed up late fixing servers, and showed up — because the people here were worth showing up for. It was never about building a brand. It was about building a home.
When the community started growing, it wasn't from ads or algorithms. It was because players could feel the difference between something made for them and something made at them. That's always been our north star.
And it still is.
We're not going anywhere. This place was built for you, and it'll keep being yours — for as long as you want to be here.
We'll see you in-game.
